How Our Repeat Prescription Delivery Service Works
The first step to using our Birmingham repeat prescription delivery service with Kings Pharmacy is to nominate Kings Pharmacy as your chosen pharmacy. You can do this through the NHS App, through the NHS website, or by speaking to your GP surgery.
The second step is to use the NHS App or contact your GP practice to order your repeat prescriptions, letting them know that we are your pharmacy of choice. Once your GP has approved your repeat prescription and sent it to us electronically, we can prepare your medication and arrange collection or delivery where available.
Finally, all you need to do is relax and wait for your delivery to arrive!

The Prescription Collection Service
The evolution of digital health and mobile technology is enabling us to adapt and grow into a more convenient lifestyle. At Kings Pharmacy, our prescription collection service is designed to make managing your medication easier. Once your GP has approved your prescription and sent it to us electronically, we can prepare your medication for collection or delivery where available.
We can also deliver your prescription to your door, usually within 24 hours where available, to help make sure you receive your medication quickly, safely and efficiently.
How Does Our Prescription Collection Service in Birmingham Work?
Our prescription collection service is simple:
1. Order your repeat prescription through the NHS App, the NHS website, or directly through your GP surgery.
2. Choose Kings Pharmacy as your nominated pharmacy so your approved prescriptions can be sent to us electronically.
3. Once your GP has approved your prescription, it will be sent to us electronically via EPS.
4. Once received, we will prepare your prescription for collection from the pharmacy or delivery where available.
We will always follow the correct safety checks when supplying medication to make sure your prescription is handled safely and securely.
